Position Overview
We’re seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Fitness Zone Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for members at the Boner Fitness & Learning Center. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming environment, support membership growth, and ensure a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in members, creating a welcoming and positive environment
- Provide accurate information about programs, services, and class schedules
- Answer phones and respond to member inquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- Promote and sell memberships, including providing tours to prospective members
- Process memberships and maintain accurate member records
- Support day-to-day operations of the Fitness Zone, including organization and cleanliness
- Assist with scheduling and program coordination as needed
- Build positive relationships with members, guests, and staff
- Help ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all participants
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1–3 years of customer service or sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact with diverse populations
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems (Outlook, Teams, databases, etc.)
- Professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fitness facility or wellness environment
- Experience working with youth or in community-based programs
- Bilingual skills
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time or part-time, non-exempt position
- On-site at the Boner Fitness & Learning Center
- Schedule includes evenings (5:00pm–9:00pm) and weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am–6:00pm) as needed
