What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time HR Assistant position at The Job Exchange, A Division of Emerson Group?
Our client is a local school in Chester County (easily accessible from Pottstown and Exton) and they are looking to hire an HR Assistant on a part time basis to start once pre-employment checks clear. The role will be light HR duties for up to 6 weeks. However, there is a possibility this role will increase in hours to full time (40) and also become a direct hire position after working within the HR team; however, there are no guarantees.
Salary - $20 to $21 an hour to start with room to grow with added responsibilities
Benefits - Self paid through Payroll company until such time when the converted full time to client's payroll
Schedule/Hours - If Office & Flexible; 5 days a week part time or 3 full days
Responsibilities include:
- Data entry
- Updating employee files
- Payroll data input and adjustments/updates
- HRIS system updates (ISolved is used)
- Updating certifications and tracking training for compliance
- Responding to benefits questions
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or HR manager is preferred
- Some experience in HR department
- MS Office Suite and quick to pick up technology/software
