PRN- Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following established schedule.
• Assist with complex procedures such as catheterizations.
• Support patients with specialized needs.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly to urgent situations including acute pain management, airway management.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in good standing; prior experience in critical care settings and long term care is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology.
• Ability to perform technical skills such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and sterile technique adherence.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork orientation.
