Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, and finishing of linens, uniforms, and terry
- Ensure timely and consistent delivery of linen to support guest rooms, dining outlets, spa, and public spaces
- Lead, coach, and develop the laundry team to uphold the highest standards of quality and productivity
- Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe working environment
- Partner with Housekeeping and other departments to anticipate and meet operational needs
- Monitor linen quality, proactively removing damaged or worn items from circulation
- Coordinate closely with Engineering to ensure proper maintenance and performance of equipment
Key Requirements
- Availability: Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with business demands
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of laundry experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment required
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a service-driven environment
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely operate industrial laundry equipment
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily workflow and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts
- Inspect linens to ensure they meet the hotel’s quality and presentation standards
- Operate and oversee commercial laundry equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, supply usage, and equipment maintenance
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to support uninterrupted operations
- Provide training and ongoing development to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Support operations during peak periods through hands-on involvement as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial laundry operations required
- Supervisory experience within hospitality or healthcare environments preferred
