Team Lead 2nd Shift

Team Lead position available for an individual who enjoys motivating a team to meet goals established per shift. The qualified individual will communicate requirements to the team, monitor and encourage safe practices for team members, and providing training. Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:30pm until 12:00 midnight (Arrive by 3:00 for hand-off meeting with 1st shift--OT will be required based on business need)

2^nd Shift Team Lead Job Responsibilities

1. Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity
2. Monitors the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers
3. Auditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary
4. Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork
5. Maintaining high standards for professional conduct
6. Onboarding and Training new hires
7. Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct
8. Listening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary
9. Promoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere
10. Completing required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Tasks would include printing orders, researching orders, following end of day processing for manifesting and invoicing.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment.
2. Must be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects.
3. Strong communication skills, writing and verbal
4. Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
5. Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
6. Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs.
7. Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.
8. Must be available to work overtime as required.
9. Bilingual for Spanish is preferred.
