As the Senior Manager, Software Quality Assurance Practice, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our QA discipline, fostering a culture of innovation, automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle and mentor a high-performing team to deliver scalable, reliable testing solutions.
This is a remote position within the United States, with the option to work a hybrid schedule from one of our sites in Bar Harbor, ME; Farmington, CT; Gainesville, FL; New York City, NY; or Sacramento, CA, if desired. Quarterly travel is required.

What You Contribute
- Develop and implement software quality assurance strategies that support scalable, automated testing practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead QA resources through the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Identify and drive process improvements to elevate the quality and efficiency of QA delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering leaders, product teams, vendors, and partners.
- Manage the QA practice budget, optimizing resource allocation to support strategic initiatives and tooling investments.
- Ensure QA practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining strong security and data protection protocols.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and testing innovations, recommending tools and frameworks that enhance automation and quality outcomes.
- Champion Agile frameworks (preferably Scrum and/or SAFe) to drive iterative development and continuous feedback.
- Apply software development methodologies and best practices to guide QA strategy and execution.
- Promote a culture of quality and agility, ensuring the QA discipline contributes meaningfully to overall project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in IT or QA management, with a strong background in software quality assurance and automation practices.
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated success in leading high-performing technical teams.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and QA best practices, including test automation frameworks and tooling (e.g., Playwright).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments, with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
