We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist in providing high-quality eye care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Ophthalmologist in performing eye exams and diagnostic tests
• Prepare patients for procedures and surgeries
• Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the Ophthalmologist
• Perform basic eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
• Record patient medical history and maintain accurate patient records
• Clean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments
• Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician preferred but not required 
• Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
