Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30a.m.-1:30 p.m.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist in providing high-quality eye care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Ophthalmologist in performing eye exams and diagnostic tests
- Prepare patients for procedures and surgeries
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the Ophthalmologist
- Perform basic eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
- Record patient medical history and maintain accurate patient records
- Clean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments
- Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician
- Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
