MRI Technologist

Job Responsibilities and Customer Service Principles
- Operate MRI equipment to perform MRI and MRA procedures independently.
- Promote high-level customer service by understanding and exceeding patient expectations.

Duties and Technical Skills
- Perform MRI/MRA procedures and operate related equipment accurately.
- Ensure patient comfort and immobilization during scans.
- Evaluate image quality and maintain proper documentation.
- Maintain MRI equipment, supplies, and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certification Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and magnetic safety.
- Skill in operating MRI machines and recognizing subtle differences in images.
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide patient reassurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferably two years of MRI experience and ARRT certification or eligibility.
