Job Title: Intermediate Project Architect (3-7 years experience)
Job Summary / Overview:
We are seeking a talented Intermediate Project Architect to join our dynamic architecture and design team. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural projects from concept through construction administration. You will work closely with Principals, Project Managers, and design teams on a variety of commercial, institutional, residential, and mixed-use projects.
As an intermediate-level architect, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility for project coordination, technical documentation, and client interaction while continuing to develop your skills under the guidance of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of design concepts and technical drawings (schematic design through construction documents)
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and permit submissions
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for mid-sized projects
- Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
- Collaborate with clients to understand needs and present design solutions
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure) preferred
- 3–7 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
- Experience with BIM processes and sustainable design practices is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
