This role is perfect for someone who wants to sharpen their culinary skills while working alongside talented chefs in a high-energy environment.

• Follow daily prep lists and priorities established by the culinary team.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks, including sauces, stocks, and other kitchen preparations.
• Prepare salads, appetizers, and other menu components.
• Label, organize, rotate, and stock all food items properly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed.
• Support the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Previous prep cook experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Italian cuisine experience, preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions.
• Comfortable using knives, kitchen equipment, and food preparation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed.
• Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
