Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender You will need a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a night and weekend job.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions smoothly.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment.
- Restock bar supplies regularly and communicate inventory needs to management proactively.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order tallying.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
