Role Summary
We are seeking a Process Engineer who will play a critical role in stabilizing, improving, and advancing plant operations. This position blends hands‑on troubleshooting with strategic project work, allowing you to directly influence production reliability, safety, and long‑term process capability. You will partner closely with plant leadership, operators, and cross‑functional teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and lead initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen equipment performance. Key Responsibilities
• Develop, refine, and maintain SOPs by collaborating with operators and plant staff
• Lead incident reviews, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
• Recommend and execute equipment and process improvements aligned with safety, quality, cost, and production goals
• Provide facilities engineering support, including upgrades, modifications, and adherence to engineering standards
• Partner with R&D to transition development projects from lab to manufacturing
• Use statistical analysis and SPC tools to validate process capability, reliability, and quality
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to drive continuous improvement and increase uptime
• Manage capital projects, contractor coordination, and major shutdown planning with plant leadership
Key Requirements
• Open to 1 to 3 years of experience; 3 to 5 years of experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Engineering Management Preferred
• Demonstrated experience in process safety management and hands‑on process troubleshooting • Proven success designing or improving equipment, processes, or facilities, including capital project involvement
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and driving measurable operational improvements
• Exposure to 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks and familiarity with PLCs or ladder logic preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data mining, statistical testing, and process modeling
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across plant teams
