The Innovative Daycare Corp (IDC) Long Islands ONLY NAFCC-accredited home-based childcare program is hiring Floaters to support our classrooms at IDC and IDC II. This role is perfect for someone flexible, responsible, and excited to support children across multiple age groups.
Floaters assist where needed throughout the day and gain experience in infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age classrooms an excellent pathway for those advancing in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom coverage across multiple age groups
Assist with supervision, routines, and activities
Support bilingual learning experiences (English/Spanish)
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
Communicate professionally and follow center protocols
Qualifications
CDA preferred or willingness to obtain after hire
Early Childhood Experience Preferred
Patient, loving, responsible, and flexible
Willing to pursue additional training and education
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
