The Hidden Kitchen at The Weathersfield Inn is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven server to join our team. We are a small, award-winning farm-to-table restaurant and boutique inn located in the heart of Vermont. Unlike larger restaurants where sections become territorial, our team works together to create memorable dining experiences and support one another throughout service.
We are open Wednesday through Sunday and host weddings and private events throughout the year, providing excellent earning opportunities for motivated servers. Our wedding season includes events ranging from intimate gatherings to celebrations of more than 100 guests. Strong servers who understand hospitality, wine service, and guest engagement can earn exceptional gratuities.
Position Details
- Part-time: 2-4 shifts per week
- Typical schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
- Most shifts begin at 4:00 PM
- Typical end time: 10:00 PM
- Additional shifts available during weddings, private events, and holidays
- Competitive hourly wage plus tips

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and attentive guest service
- Learn and confidently present seasonal menus that change frequently
- Execute professional food and wine service
- Process orders accurately using our POS system
- Assist with event and wedding service as needed
- Work collaboratively with both front and back of house teams
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred
- Fine dining experience is a plus but not required
- Wine knowledge is helpful; ongoing training provided
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to climb stairs and lift/carry up to 25 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
