Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with confidence, answering inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software, verifying reservations and processing payments accurately.
  • Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services to enhance guest experiences.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with patience and professionalism, striving to resolve issues swiftly and satisfactorily.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while adhering to privacy standards.
  • Conduct night audits when scheduled, reconciling accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
  • Assist with guest relations by anticipating needs, offering personalized service, and fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Support team members with administrative tasks such as updating guest profiles or managing incoming correspondence.
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards across all communication channels to ensure clarity and friendliness at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; previous hotel experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered a significant advantage for engaging diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems to handle high-volume calls effectively.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including guest relations, resort operations, and front desk procedures.
  • Ability to manage night audit responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
