Diesel and Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist — Airport Operations (IDS)

What you’ll do
- Coordinate and execute local maintenance schedules to ensure fleet dependability.
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks using established procedures and best practices.
- Interpret and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues within defined time expectations.
- Complete accurate maintenance records; perform both scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
- Efficient speaking and hearing ability.
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
- Time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of fluid types and diesel‑powered machines and tooling—design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Commitment to confidentiality of information.
- Read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English; able to give verbal direction in English.
- Professional tact with colleagues and client representatives at all levels.
- Hands‑on experience with standard/specialty tools and test gear (photo tachometer, diagnostics hardware, scanners, meters).
- Valid driver’s license.
