Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To)
- Promote a strong safety culture by following all safety policies, procedures, and standards, and encouraging shared responsibility for workplace safety.
- Support the company’s environmental commitments by helping minimize operational impacts on the environment and ensuring compliance with all environmental laws and permit requirements.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater processing equipment to ensure efficient and reliable performance.
- Perform equipment inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and facility support activities as required.
- Follow company procedures, operational plans, and management directives to ensure work is completed according to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Complete confined space entry tasks in accordance with established safety procedures and training requirements.
- Maintain accurate awareness of operating conditions and respond appropriately to changing site needs.
- Contribute to the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of wastewater treatment activities and related equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to safely operate motorized vehicles in various weather conditions.
- Ability to successfully pass airport security background screening requirements, including SIDA Airside security testing.
- Ability to complete all required classroom and on-the-job training programs.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and communicating effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedural documents.
- General mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and effectively use hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while working within time-sensitive environments.
- Full-time positions consist of 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, averaging 40 hours per week.
- Part-time positions consist of scheduled 8-hour shifts and may include nights, weekends, and other non-standard hours.
- No travel is anticipated for this position.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Work is performed in a variety of outdoor conditions with frequent exposure to hot and cold weather; hearing protection is required.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, climb catwalks, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights of up to 15 feet when required.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year airport background check as a condition of obtaining airport security clearance.
