What You’ll Maintain Deicer trucksGRV (Glycol Recovery Vehicle) trucksSupport vehiclesGround service equipment and related systems Your Responsibilities Coordinate and execute local maintenance schedules to ensure reliability.Perform skilled technician work following established procedures and standards.Use technical publications—manuals, IPCs, schematics, blueprints, drawings—to complete tasks.Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve them within defined timeframes.Maintain accurate records; conduct both scheduled and unscheduled inspections. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; 18 years of age.Ability to speak and hear efficiently; read, write, understand, and provide verbal direction in English.Basic to intermediate computer literacy.Personal tools: sockets/wrenches up to 1" (up to 1/2" drive).Strong organization and time management for multiple deadlines.Working knowledge of fluid types and diesel-powered machinery/tools—design, use, repair, maintenance.Professional discretion with confidential information; tact with all levels of employees and client reps.Comfort with standard/specialty tools and diagnostic equipment (photo tachometer, scanners, meters, diagnostic hardware).Valid driver’s license.Willingness to travel to other IDS airport stations as needed (TDY). Environment & Physical Demands Hands-on work in and around heavy moving equipment; exposure to noise, varying temperatures/humidity, and safe but potentially unpleasant odors.Use of hands for tools/controls; reaching with hands/arms; effective speaking and hearing.Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.Lift up to 50 lbs.
