The Ink Spot, Inc. is a fast-paced and growing printing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and outstanding service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run Mimaki Flatbed printer and router
- Perform finishing duties (ie. cutting, mounting, laminating, taping, grommeting, etc, etc)
- Operate and maintain cutting plotters and roll laminators
- Package and quality control completed orders for shipment
- Assist Shipping and Receiving of all incoming and outgoing packages
- Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications
- Maintain production records (i.e. notes, dates, initials, receipts)
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment including, but not limited to, trash removal, sweeping and general organization
- Take daily inventory of stock items and materials
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent
- Mac/Windows proficient
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under deadlines
- Must be a self motivated, team player with a great work ethic
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Previous sign or print industry experience
- Experience in operating a vinyl plotter
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
This is a union position. Union membership is required within 60 days.
