What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Cook - Hotel Restaurant position at The Ingleside Hotel?
The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee is seeking an experienced culinary professional to cook for the restaurant and room-service in our large, professional kitchen. Assist with high-volume banquet prep - chef's tables, conferences, wine dinners & up to 100 weddings/year.
Full time 6am-2pm, including weekends. Restaurant experience required.
Wage $20/hr full benefit package: health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k with company match fun perks like discounted admission to our Springs Water Park.
Responsibilities:

Prepare food efficiently and timely for guests.

Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef.

Follow predetermined instruction regarding recipes and quantities.

Have a basic knowledge of food cost control.

Comply with all food handling and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:

Previous restaurant cooking experience, education and/or culinary training is required

Food knowledge regarding pantry, soups, sauté and broiler preferred

Must have manual dexterity for knife handling, sautéing, and equipment usage

Excellent food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to operate a variety of commercial cooking equipment
