What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor- PM shift position at The Ingleside Hotel?
The Ingleside Hotel and Springs Water Park in Pewaukee is looking for a detail-oriented person to help guide our evening Housekeeping team. Full-time 2-10pm, time can be flexible. Must be able to work weekends. Train new staff, guide staff to ensure work completed in a timely manner. Keep public areas properly cleaned and well maintained - hallways, lobbies, women's & men's locker rooms/rest rooms, wipe down tables/chairs, etc. Will also carry radio to communicate regarding needed deliveries to guest rooms. Wage $22/hr.
- Clean all public areas and keep rechecking within a regular time frame, set by the manager. (Examples include: vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, restrooms).
- Check on work being performed by Public Area Attendants.
- Train new staff.
- Assist with inventory, lost & found.
- Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment and tools.
- Communicate in English with front desk to deliver items to guest rooms.
- Resolve any guest issues relating to housekeeping.
- Clean rooms requesting late stayover service.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends consistently
- Ability to work day shift on occasion for vacation coverage
- Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift
- Ability to communicate in English over radio
