What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain position at The Ingleside Hotel?
The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center is hiring an experienced Server/Trainer to take a leadership role in coordinating food service at events held in our beautiful ballrooms. Position is full-time, with both day and evening hours based on events. Must have weekend availability. Requires banquet server experience and the ability to coach staff to provide exceptional guest service. Wage $15/hr gratuity. Requirements:
- Banquet server experience is required, preferably in a Captain or Trainer role.
- Must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate staff assignments, pace of service and teamwork.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns.

Participate in room and buffet set up.

Serve plated food or buffet style for breakfast meetings, luncheons, weddings, banquets, etc.
- Restock banquet buffets.
- Stand for the entire shift.

Lift and carry trays with 8-10 meals and serve them to guests; clear tables.
