The Oconomowoc Lake Club is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our exceptional team. As a member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring that every event runs smoothly from start to finish. From behind-the-scenes to front-of-house, your efforts will contribute to making our venue one of the premier locations in Lake Country.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Outstanding Service: Delivers exceptional guest service through professional, attentive interaction that prioritizes a positive experience
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with banquet captain and Director of Banquets, to ensure a seamless guest experience and the highest standards of culinary excellence.
- Event Setup & Breakdown : Creative event detailing. Building buffets, coffee breaks, traditional glass and flatware setting. Full clean up following events
- Serve Guests: Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail when verifying table settings, food presentation, timing, and adherence to event specifications. Exhibits practical food and beverage knowledge, including menus, service styles, allergen awareness, dietary restrictions, and safe handling practices.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Complete prep work and side duties to ensure cleanliness and readiness throughout the event. Ensures table setup is clean and tidy and that all operating equipment (china, glass, sliver, linen) is clean and free of spots and marks, holes and tears. Ensures that all guests have the correct silverware for the next course
- Team Support: Work as part of a dynamic team. Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment.
- All Other Duties as Assigned
Shifts & Requirements:
- Shifts are primarily Friday and Saturday evenings, with occasional weekday and Sunday events.
- Previous Banquet serving experience is preferred.
- A positive attitude and a passion for excellent customer service are essential!
- Must be able to bend, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Enjoying hard work is a plus.
