What are the responsibilities and job description for the French Teacher position at The Immersion School?
About The Immersion School
The Immersion School was founded to provide young children with meaningful language and cultural immersion starting as early as age three. Built on the belief that children have a natural ability to learn languages, our school offers a fully immersive, play-based environment where learning feels joyful, engaging, and natural. Our teachers speak exclusively in the target language, surrounding children with authentic communication throughout their time in the classroom. Through this approach, we foster early language development, cultural curiosity, and the foundation for global citizenship in an increasingly interconnected world.
About the Global Explorers Program
Global Explorers is The Immersion School's afterschool language immersion program for children ages 3–10. Each month, students "travel" to a new country or region and explore through food, geography, art, music, stories, and hands-on cultural activities—all conducted entirely in the target language. Classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 6 students, allowing for personalized instruction and meaningful engagement.
