We’re a boutique visibility agency that partners with high-impact, client-facing leaders and teams to transform how they drive business development by positioning the people inside the business as the engine for growth.


Unlike traditional agencies, our work brings together strategy, messaging, and visibility experiences in one place so how leaders show up is aligned across every touchpoint, from digital presence to in-room conversations.


We are hiring a Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth through a full-cycle sales approach.


This is not a transactional sales role.


You will be responsible for building relationships within a defined market, generating qualified opportunities, leading high-value business conversations, and converting those opportunities into paid engagements.


This role owns the process from initial outreach through to closed deal.


Core Responsibility

Build a consistent pipeline of corporate opportunities and convert them into revenue.


What You’ll Do

Pipeline Creation & Outreach

  • Identify and engage decision-makers within a defined ecosystem (industry, role, or market)
  • Identify and invite aligned professionals to complimentary and paid events
  • Initiate conversations through LinkedIn, email, events, phone, and referrals
  • Build and maintain relationships over time
  • Stay visible and top-of-mind within key circles

Opportunity Qualification

  • Determine whether a prospect is a strong fit based on role, organization, business need, and readiness
  • Prioritize high-quality opportunities over volume

Discovery & Sales Conversations

  • Lead structured discovery conversations with decision-makers
  • Understand business challenges and desired outcomes
  • Position services in alignment with organizational priorities
  • Guide conversations toward clear next steps

Deal Development & Closing

  • Shape opportunities into defined engagements
  • Create or support proposals as needed
  • Navigate objections and decision-making dynamics
  • Close deals and ensure revenue is collected

Relationship Expansion

  • Maintain relationships with prospects and clients
  • Identify additional opportunities within accounts
  • Support long-term revenue growth


How You’ll Work

  • Operate within a defined ecosystem of buyers and opportunities
  • Build pipeline through consistent outreach and presence
  • Balance relationship-building with revenue accountability
  • Track activity, pipeline, and outcomes in CRM
  • Take ownership of moving opportunities from conversation to close

  • High-quality conversations with decision-makers
  • Opportunities progressing through a defined sales process
  • Revenue generated from closed deals
  • Strong relationships that lead to repeat and expanded business


Compensation & OTE

Base Salary: $24,000 annually

Commission: 10%

OTE: $94,000 annually

  • Has proven relationship-driven business development experience
  • Can both generate opportunities and close business
  • Builds trust quickly with professionals and decision-makers
  • Has strong judgment and prioritizes high-value opportunities
  • Takes initiative and drives results without needing constant direction
  • Understands the importance of first impression in-person, in conversations and digitally


This Role Is Not For Someone Who

  • Only wants to set appointments without owning outcomes
  • Relies on scripts without understanding the conversation
  • Avoids closing or navigating decision-making
  • Needs constant direction to move opportunities forward


Summary


This is a full-cycle sales role focused on building relationships, creating opportunities, and converting those opportunities into revenue.


Success in this role comes from consistency, strong judgment, and the ability to move from conversation to deal.


Salary : $24,000 - $94,000
