Selected candidate will be responsible for installation, diagnosis, and repair of environmental-comfort systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, hydronic theory, and modern control techniques.

Summary:
- Responsible for installing and servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uses a variety of hand tools and laptop computers, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to install, diagnose, repair, and program HVAC equipment.
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs instruments and products at a customer's location.
- Performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining the building layout, anticipating potential issues, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
- Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and literature supplies.
- Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear (maladjustment, mis-calibration, malfunction, and drift).
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
- Supports HVAC Field Technicians by providing technical assistance and offering guidance.
- Provides training and follow-up training at a customer's site.
- Utilizes project plans to prioritize and schedule work sequences.
- Determines parts to order for repairs and the timeliness of need.
- Provides technical support to customers.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and programming
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Must have an associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school in HVAC, Computer Science or related field
- 2-5 years of HVAC Journeyman experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience programming and performing start-up and commissioning on any brand Building Automation System.
- Must have field experience in installation techniques and servicing/troubleshooting/repairing BAS equipment
- Tridium AX and/or N4 certification and Distech and/or Trane experience a plus
