A well respected, faith-based law firm located in Barrington is seeking an Illinois-Licensed Estate & Trust Attorney.Position OverviewThis full-time position is ideal for a licensed Illinois attorney who is passionateabout estate & trust law and values building meaningful relationships with clients. Theideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively to craft personalized legal strategies thatreflect their commitment to excellence, integrity, and service.What You’ll DoProvide strategic counsel to clients on estate planning, asset protection, and trust structuresDraft, review, and finalize legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related instrumentsRespond to client inquiries with professionalism and care, ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional serviceOversee probate and trust administration matters from initiation through resolutionCollaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver holistic planning solutionsStay current on developments in federal and Illinois estate and trust law to ensure accurate, up-to-date guidanceWhat We’re Looking ForJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in IllinoisAt least 5 years of experience in estate planning and trust lawExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and keen attention to detailA client-focused approach with a commitment to ethical and compassionate legal practiceAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal practice management software (such as Smokeball) is a plusIdeal Candidate Will Also HaveAn existing referral network or active client base in estate planning, probate, or trust administrationA proven history of building strong professional relationships that generate consistent referralsA desire to serve current and future clients through the systems and support of a highly rated law firmInterest in long-term growth and leadership opportunities within a mission-driven practiceCompensation$70,000 – $300,000 annually, depending on experience, billing, and whether the candidatebrings an existing team or active client relationships.
