Graphic Artist

Full-Time Graphic Artist, Elk Grove Village IL (On-Site)

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour workday with 1-hour lunch)

Are you a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Artist who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a talented professional to join our team and contribute to a wide variety of print, digital, marketing, and promotional apparel projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life through innovative design while balancing multiple deadlines and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality print and digital marketing materials including flyers, postcards, catalogs, brochures, advertisements, email campaigns, website graphics, and promotional content.
• Create and maintain designs that align with established brand guidelines across multiple brands and platforms.
• Develop engaging digital content including infographics, key art, templates, logos, illustrations, animations, motion graphics, and 3D concepts.
• Perform image retouching, photo cleanup, color correction, typography, and page layout design.
• Design and optimize email marketing campaigns, including subject lines, segmentation, messaging, and deliverability.
• Monitor and analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion/redemption metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing and production teams to develop new campaign concepts and test strategies.
• Create website page layouts and graphics that support marketing initiatives and enhance user experience.
• Prepare artwork for screen printing, including color separations and film output.
• Assist with heat transfer logo production using Roland and OkiData printing equipment.
• Support photography and videography projects as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, software updates, and production technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of graphic design experience working under creative direction.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, color theory, image manipulation, and print production.
• Experience creating a wide variety of print materials including flyers, postcards, catalogs, and promotional pieces.
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and campaign management.
• Experience with email delivery optimization tools and campaign performance reporting.
• Website design and page layout experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Analytics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Digital content creation including animation, motion graphics, illustration, and 3D design.
• Photography and videography experience.
• Knowledge of Roland and OkiData printers used for heat transfer applications.
• Experience with color separations and film output for screen printing.
• Familiarity with the latest production equipment and processes within the promotional garment printing industry.
