Overview
This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and compliance in a regulated environment. As a key member of the operations team, you will help ensure products consistently meet company quality standards from intake through finished goods while maintaining accurate records in inventory and compliance systems.
Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Perform quality inspections throughout the product lifecycle, from intake through finished goods.
- Verify products meet company quality, packaging, labeling, and compliance standards.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality issues.
- Help ensure company SOPs and quality procedures are consistently followed throughout operations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality standards, inspection criteria, and Test and Measurement User Standards (TAMUs).
- Assist in investigating quality concerns and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Compliance
- Follow company SOPs and applicable cannabis regulations.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Help ensure product traceability and regulatory compliance.
Inventory & Systems
- Maintain accurate inventory, traceability, and product status records in Metrc and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory and quality records.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation related to quality issues.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cultivation, production, extraction, packaging, and supply chain teams to maintain product quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality and consistency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, inventory, or a regulated industry preferred.
- 1 year in cannabis industry preferred.
- Experience with Metrc or other inventory management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify issues, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
