The HT Group is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for our client located in Sulphur, LA. This is a contract-to-hire position offering $16-$17hr. The standard work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime available during peak times.
Drug screening will be required upon offer, conducted in Orange, TX. The warehouse is indoors and covered, but not air-conditioned. Sneakers and shorts are acceptable attire; steel-toe boots are not required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping/receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and route to sales team
- Move and organize materials in designated areas
- Sort and stock items by size, type, or product code
- Fulfill and assemble customer orders from stock
- Prepare orders for shipment or pickup
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and assist with physical counts
- Keep warehouse clean, safe, and accessible
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Basic computer skills for inventory and filing tasks
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required
- Must pass a drug screening (conducted in Orange, TX) upon offer
- Must pass background - No: Felonies / Violence / Theft
- Must be reliable and dependable
