Your Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and their corresponding work papers with surgical precision.
- Budgeting: Create and maintain annual budgets for each assigned property.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly deep dives into budget-to-actual variances, turning data into actionable insights.
- External Collaboration: Work with outside accountants to help prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Ledger & Account Reconciliation: Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring every number is accurate and accounted for.

- Timely Reporting: All monthly financial reports are submitted on time, every time.
- Impeccable Accuracy: Maintain a low error rate in all financial statements and account reconciliations.

- Experience: You have at least 2 years of proven experience in financial reporting. Experience in real estate or property accounting is a major plus.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Tech Skills: You're a pro with Microsoft Excel and ideally have experience with Yardi.
- Mindset: You’re self-motivated, proactive, and have an exceptional work ethic. You're a problem-solver who believes in taking ownership of your work.
