About the Role

This warm, active Scarsdale family of four is looking for a proactive, dependable nanny to become a long-term, trusted presence in their home. Their two daughters — ages 1 and 3 — are full of energy and love playing "Doctor" and "Chef," reading, dancing to music, and spending entire afternoons outdoors at the playground! The household is lively and family-centered, with mornings focused on the youngest (playgrounds, playdates, classes) and afternoons bringing naps, museum visits, and fun outings once the 3-year-old returns from school.

Mom is home during the day and enjoys being actively involved, making this a genuinely collaborative role. You will work in true partnership with a parent while still taking full initiative on keeping the household flow seamless when the family is out or resting. The right fit is warm, upbeat, and brings real enthusiasm to every single day!

What You Will Do

• Provide engaging, attentive care for two young daughters (1 and 3 years old).
• Plan and facilitate developmentally enriching activities, including playground trips, playdates, classes, museum outings, and outdoor play.
• Partner collaboratively with a stay-at-home Mom during daily routines and activities.
• Manage children's schedules, nap routines, and age-appropriate stimulation.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks (the little ones love berries, pasta, and oatmeal!).
• Take initiative on child-related household tasks, including children's laundry, tidying play areas, and light errands.
• Provide safe transportation for outings and activities.
• Be comfortable interacting with and around a large household dog.
• Travel enthusiastically with the family on both domestic and international trips.

Schedule and Compensation

• Position: Full-time, live-out role.
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:15am–5:45pm.
• Pay Rate: $40–$45/hr.
• Benefits/Perks: Gas / commuter stipend included.
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Placement: Long-term placement strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience caring for infants and toddlers.
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving children to activities/outings.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with a parent at home.
• Comfortable around pets (large dog in the home).
• Comfortable commuting to Scarsdale, NY daily.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally with the family.
