Responsibilities
- Handle light front desk duties like front desk guest services being on-call, while handling cleaning responsibilities.
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and service spaces during the night shift to ensure a spotless environment.
- Conduct floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote health standards.
- Execute industrial cleaning duties when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, or large areas.
- Follow established protocols for hotel or hospitality cleaning standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in managing custodial supplies inventory and report needs for restocking or maintenance.
- Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules, documenting completed tasks, and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the shift.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and safety procedures related to industrial or hospitality cleaning environments.
- Experience working during night shifts in a hospitality or facility management setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices for cleanliness and guest safety.
