Hotaling’s Commercial and Small Business teams provide personalized service and strategic risk guidance to small and mid-sized organizations. This role supports producers and clients by delivering responsive service, tailored coverage solutions, and long-term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Producers/Sales Executives to manage day-to-day service for assigned small business accounts.
- Deliver exceptional client service through timely communication and proactive problem solving.
- Support the marketing, quoting, renewal, and policy implementation process.
- Review client exposures, identify coverage gaps, and recommend tailored insurance solutions aligned with business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams.
- Help retain existing business and identify opportunities to expand coverage lines and services.
- Provide support with certificates, endorsements, audits, claims advocacy, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure service standards and timelines are met.
- Manage accounts profitably while contributing to long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of commercial insurance, client service, or related experience
- (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Active insurance license
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and small business risk exposures
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
