Currently hiring a full-time Director of Facilities for our residential addiction treatment facility near Woodstock, GA. Looking for an experienced individual who can work independently, has handy-person skills, is dependable, with a heart for service. Background check and drug testing will be required.
About Us: We are a 90-day residential facility that helps men that struggle from substance abuse, alcohol abuse, and/or sexual addictions. We provide intensive therapy and healing for individuals with a faith-based foundation. We are located on a 17-acre, wooded property in Acworth, GA. There are 5 main buildings with a few smaller structures, along with 2 off-site properties (both within 5-minute drive).
About the role: The Director of Facilities’ overall goal is to ensure that the facilities are in good working order, the campus is well-maintained, and all maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner.
Responsibilities Include:
· Perform miscellaneous repair, construction, general installation, and preventative maintenance work not limited to replacing floor tile, pressure washing, grounds and tree maintenance, changing out ceiling and exhaust fans, hauling trash to the dumpster, ensuring tools, materials and equipment are stored properly
· Weekly campus walk-through to see if there are needs or potential issues that need to be addressed
· Prioritize and complete maintenance requests
· Schedule all necessary state or county inspections (safety, fire, etc.)
· Complete vehicle and house inspection reports quarterly
· Maintain paths and other areas not maintained by outside vendor; some mowing required during the growing season
· Cut firewood from fallen trees and clean up any debris (we have a log splitter)
· Facilitate any campus needs that require an outside vender (i.e. plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
· Check fuel levels on the two transit vans and fill when needed
· Facilitate scheduling of Community Service volunteers and oversee their work
· Occasional after hours calls/texts as our on-call person tries to assess an after hours maintenance issue. There is no "on call" requirement but, if the Facilities Director feels the need to come on-site, the hours worked will translate into additional paid time off.

Education:
· High school diploma (Required)
Experience:
· 3 years of related experience (Required)
· Ability to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical and mechanical work
Other Requirements:
· Must have basic computer skills (we use Outlook email and Teams)
· Must have good organizational skills (many new tasks get assigned in a given week) and good judgment, in order to prioritize tasks and know when it is necessary to temporarily leave one task for something more urgent
· Must be a “do-er” (1 person team) with a great work ethic and someone that can be moving for much of the day, each day – often doing manual labor
License/Certification:
· Driver's License with reliable transportation (Required) - A vehicle with a hitch is very much preferred (we have a trailer)
