Nestled in the heart of Eugene's Jefferson Westside neighborhood, The Honeybee Home is a small, nature based early childhood program where children spend their days exploring the outdoors, tending gardens, caring for animals, and learning through meaningful play.
We're looking for a warm, dependable, and passionate full time Bilingual teacher to join our team. If you believe childhood should be filled with wonder, fresh air, creativity, and connection, we'd love to hear from you.
Our program is deeply inspired by the Waldorf and Reggio Emilia philosophies, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, child led exploration, and building meaningful relationships. We care for a small group of just 12 children each day, allowing us to create a peaceful, nurturing environment where every child is truly known.
Our days are spent outside in every season walking our neighborhood, exploring parks and forests, gardening, creating art from natural materials, reading stories beneath the trees, and discovering the beauty found in everyday moments.
Position Details:
- Role: Full Time Lead Daycare Teacher
- Location: The Honeybee Home (Jefferson Westside, Eugene)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- Start Date: As soon as the right honeybee lands!

- A gentle, grounded presence who has experience with young children
- A love for the natural world and joyful play in all weather
- A heart that resonates with the Waldorf and Reggio Emilia approaches
- Creativity, patience, and the gift of slowing down and truly seeing children
- CPR/First Aid & background check completed or willing to obtain
