The Honeybee Home is looking for a kind, dependable, and passionate bilingual teacher to join our small, heart-centered team beginning in August.

Located in Eugene’s Jefferson Westside neighborhood, The Honeybee Home is a licensed in-home nature school serving children ages 6 months to 4 years. Inspired by Waldorf and Reggio Emilia philosophies, our days are filled with nature walks, gardening, animal care, storytelling, open-ended art, music, cooking, and meaningful play. We believe children thrive when they’re given the time, space, and freedom to wonder, explore, and build genuine connections with the world around them.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Start Date: August 2026

We Are Looking For Someone Who…

• Is fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Has experience working with infants and/or preschool-aged children
• Is warm, nurturing, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children
• Loves being outdoors in every season, rain or shine
• Enjoys walking, exploring nature, gardening, music, storytelling, cooking, and creative experiences
• Believes in child led learning and respects each child’s individual development
• Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
• Communicates professionally with both families and coworkers
• Works well independently while also being a supportive team member

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Oregon Central Background Registry enrollment (or willingness to enroll)
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in outdoor activities throughout the day
