We are looking for an Events & Reservations Coordinator to join our team. The coordinator plays a key role in both guest experience and event success at The Spare Room. This hybrid position blends front-end client service with behind-the-scenes event support, ensuring smooth operations for reservations while actively contributing to the growth and execution of the events program.
The role partners closely with the Event Manager, handling day-to-day reservation management, and select event ownership from inquiry to execution.
What You Will Do
The Event Coordinator will support all aspects of reservations, event planning, and venue operations. Responsibilities include managing table, group, and bowling reservations, assisting with event inquires, preparing proposals and contracts, and coordinating event logistics such as menus, music, and schedules. You'll assist with administrative duties such as, maintaining general office needs, ordering supplies, handling engineering issues with the venue, and processing invoices. This role oversees semi-private events from start to finish and provides onsite support during peak times. Additional duties include daily venue walkthroughs, vendor invoicing, light marketing tasks, and maintaining accurate event records.
