What You’ll Do
The Housekeeping Rooms Inspector is responsible for conducting daily inspections and providing accurate reporting of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public areas. In this role, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
You will inspect guest rooms cleaned by Room Attendants to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition meet The Hollywood Roosevelt standards. This includes ensuring all vacant rooms are properly inspected and released promptly for arriving guests. You will also inspect housekeeping storage areas daily to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with amenities, linens, and terry items.
Additional responsibilities include completing inspection checklists and housekeeping reports, monitoring inspection results, identifying deficiencies, and communicating concerns to Housekeeping leadership. You will assist with training and coaching team members, reinforce departmental procedures and service standards, and support daily housekeeping operations as needed.
This role also requires handling guest requests and concerns professionally, coordinating with other hotel departments to support seamless guest experiences, and ensuring all safety, security, and operational standards are consistently followed.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual with prior housekeeping experience and a strong understanding of cleanliness and guest service standards. Previous experience as a Rooms Inspector or Housekeeping Supervisor is preferred, along with basic knowledge of Opera Cloud, Alice, Chargeback, and Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate is able to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. Candidates should also possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and support team members while promoting a positive and guest-focused work environment.
