Duties
- Assist bartenders and servers by restocking bar supplies, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies in accordance with health standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment to support daily operations
- Prepare simple food items or garnishes as needed for drinks or food service, adhering to food handling safety protocols
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with setup for events or banquets
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
- Engage with guests using excellent communication skills to enhance their experience and address any needs promptly
- Assist in catering events or banquet setups when required, ensuring all details are handled efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred, especially with food preparation and serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in hospitality roles such as catering, banquet service, or hotel food service will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills combined with a friendly attitude are essential for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and cleaning duties safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry is important
- Previous barista experience or serving experience will be considered a plus for this energetic role
