Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll provide attentive, practical nursing care and help patients and families navigate each step of treatment. You’ll assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice, and keep accurate, confidential records. Your experience may come from settings such as long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, clinics, home care, or other patient-care environments.

Your impact: Timely assessments, clear communication, and coordinated care help patients receive appropriate support and help caregivers understand care needs.

• Shift: 3 shift one week, 4 shifts following week
• Contract: 13 weeks with extension
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 - 40

Qualifications

• Current LPN license and ability to perform duties within applicable scope of practice; required credentials and procedures vary by setting.
• Patient-care experience is valued. Relevant backgrounds include senior, geriatric, dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory, hospice, skilled nursing, post-acute, sub-acute, acute, medical-surgical, pediatric, emergency, or critical care.
• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems is helpful; accurate medical documentation and knowledge of medical terminology are important.
• Additional relevant skills may include phlebotomy, venipuncture, specimen collection, medication administration, aseptic technique, anatomy and physiology, and long-term care regulations.
• Experience in primary, urgent, or medical office care; developmental disability services; or specialty settings such as dialysis, ophthalmology, or occupational health is welcome.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
