Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Identify maintenance and customer service needs. Act as a liaison between company and customer. Frequently visit vessels to stay abreast of schedule, ensuring agreed launch dates are met.
Administration: Produce estimates for service requests. Prepare, track, and manage service invoices. Travel off-site for boat inspection and estimates.
Project Coordination: Schedule workforce and equipment while considering project budgets. Ensure quality control by performing inspections and verifications of job tasks prior to billing and vessel departures.
Maintain and monitor service jobs in process and obtain customer approval for growth work or scope change
Sales/Marketing: General sales assistance for boat show and other marketing events.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in the marine industry with strong knowledge in powerboat and sailboat terminology.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical information.
- Generate financial reports and contracts.
- Experience in estimating boat repairs, hours of labor, and costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous boatyard/shipyard experience preferred.
Certifications: Must hold a valid driver’s license.
Pre-Employment: All applicants must be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
