Position Status: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr.-$28/hr.

We are hiring a full-time Kitchen Manager to coordinate and oversee work activities and employees of the Food and Nutrition department.
Position Status: Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate operational functions within the Food and Nutrition Department for the assembly and distribution of resident meals, nourishments and supplies
- Oversee department employees and monitor work activities
- Orient and train new employees of the food and nutrition department
- Manage schedules and scheduling requests
- Oversee standards of sanitation, safety and security to include daily cleaning of work area and proper usage and upkeep of equipment, in accordance to the guidelines established by all state and federal regulatory agencies
- Audit and record refrigeration/freezer temperatures
- Participate in the production of facility catering events
Job Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a restaurant or large food service operation required
- Basic computer skills including knowledgeable of food service software preferred
