Units: Rehab, Memory Care, Ventilator, Neurobehavioral, Long-Term Care
Status: Part Time, Full Time, or Contract
Contracts (Full time hours): Weekdays (and Every Other Weekend) OR Weekends Only
Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights (*Day shift not available for Weekday Contract)
Rate: $18.50/hr.-$28/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in promoting quality of life for our residents.
- Assist residents with all ADL’s.
- Take vital signs and weights and reports to RN/LPN team leader.
- Ambulate, lift and transfer residents as per individual care plans.
- Assist with feeding residents, tray distribution and recording of intakes per policy.
- Interact and foster a positive relationship with staff, residents, and families consistently projecting a positive, caring, courteous and responsive environment.
- Observe and report resident needs, abnormal conditions and/or behavioral changes.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification in good standing
- Minimum of one year experience as a CNA required for contract positions
