We are currently seeking a Weld/Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the Summer 2026.
Position Overview:
The weld/manufacturing engineering intern will work with the operations team at High Steel Structures Williamsport location to assist with a variety of continuous improvement projects. These projects will focus on improving current state in fabrication, coatings, yard assembly, employee training and business operations.
Assignments will include work in both operations and office setting of structural steel fabrication environment.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Welding and Fabrication Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant area of study.
- Considering all students actively enrolled in relevant program.
- Previous experience in a trade, steel fabrication, manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
