Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring they are spotless and inviting.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, windows, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies.
- Monitor high-traffic areas regularly to promptly address spills or debris, preventing safety hazards.
- Follow established janitorial procedures for waste disposal, replenishing supplies like towels and toiletries in public restrooms.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary to uphold hygiene standards across the property.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure consistent cleanliness standards and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or hotel environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in general cleaning, floor care, and janitorial tasks are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service principles enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
- Previous housekeeping management experience can be advantageous but is not required; a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness is key.
