Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), prompting, reminding, and making sure clients meet their daily goals.
- Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols
- Document all care activities meticulously, including patient observations, care plans updates, and medication administration records
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
- Proven background in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Hands-on experience with patient monitoring and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality of patient information
- Experience in developing or following personalized care plans tailored to individual needs
