Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hospice: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:

Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor client’s health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly
- Provide medication administration assistance following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Support patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory care needs through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties to promote a safe and hygienic environment
- Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform care plans and communicate updates to healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care
- Knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and confidentiality at all times
- Familiarity with client monitoring devices and techniques for vital signs assessment
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or Alzheimer’s/dementia care is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment such as a Hoyer lift when necessary
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional certifications in hospice or long-term care are a plus
