As an on site Commercial Property Maintenance Technician, you'll support 112,000 sq. ft. of offices, meeting venues, laboratories and collaborative spaces spread across a beautiful 50 acre setting with trails, ponds and outdoor amenities. You'll be a go to pro who diagnoses, repairs and optimizes building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and more), partners with events and property teams to deliver seamless experiences, and ensures leaders, scientists and guests can focus on innovation and collaboration. Essential Functions

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of commercial properties, including but not limited to office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and occupants.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with property managers and other team members to prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors or service providers, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in commercial property maintenance to enhance the overall quality of service.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

Education Qualifications

  • Required High School or Equivalent High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Required Proven experience in commercial property maintenance, with a strong understanding of building systems and equipment.

Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of local and state building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficient in performing maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, coworkers, and external contractors.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and occasional overtime as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Able to travel around site- climb stairs and/or ladders, walk site, lifting, and working on both heat and cold
